Generalized pattern. Adjectival participles are not usually combined with time and place modifiers that refer to the event underlying the participle.

(1) Nire kotxea konpondua dago

‘My car is fixed.’

Variational pattern. In some varieties, adjectival participles headed by -a are compatible with time and place modifiers.

‘My car was fixed (yesterday morning / at Joxe’s garage).’
