I am studying the Basque Studies degree (4th year) at UPV/EHU. I have always loved languages and since I began learning how to do simple sintactic analysis at school, I am really interested in the structure of human language. One of my biggest academic interests is linguistic variation, specially from a morpho-syntactic and typological perspective. This academic year, thanks to the Ikasiker Research Fellowship [IkasC_2021_1_0042], I am collaborating with the research group The Bilingual Mind directed by Itziar Laka. In particular, I am analyzing detransitivized reflexive and reciprocal structures under the direction of Beatriz Fernández. Besides, I am also collaborating with Anne Zribi-Hertz (Université Paris 8/UMR SFL) in the project entitled Langues & Grammaires en Ille de France. Apart from academic interests, one of my hobbies is dancing basque traditional dances and as I am part of the group Alkartasuna Dantza Taldea (Bermeo), I participate in many cultural activities of my town.
