Presentation

I graduated in Basque Language and Culture and Modern Languages (University of Deusto, 2020-2025). In my Final Degree Project in Basque, I began to investigate the acquisition of Basque Language and Culture with Ane Berro (UD) and Irene de la Cruz-Pavía (UD); I received the Mintzola Prize (2024) and published the work in the research magazine Euskara (2026). In the 2025-2026 academic year, I completed the Master’s Degree in Theoretical and Experimental Linguistics, where I continued my research on the acquisition of the Basque language. In addition to my training in linguistics, I have been doing a Master of Teaching (UNIR) since June 2026.

I want to do my PhD at Language Acquisition and Processing lab (directed by Dr. de la Cruz-Pavía, University of Deusto), where I want to analyse the morphosyntactic acquisition and processing of Basque monolingual and bilingual children.

Outreach

In Mintzola Workshop 2024 we shared the conclusions from the awarded Undergraduate and Master Thesis, the objectives of the monographic works were presented and the results from the studies from collaborating institutions were published. This can be seen in the video.

The supplement of the El Diario Montañés newspaper (August 17th, 2026) features interviews and experiences from participants in the X Aula Blas Cabrera. Iniciación a la Investigación, Docencia e Innovación, which took place in August 2026 in Santander.
